Good Life Fun & Dance: Barnyard Games, Line Dancing, & More!
Join us for an evening of country shenanigans at our "Good Life Fun & Dance" event! Get ready to kick up your heels with a line dancing lesson, play family-friendly games like “Feed the Pig” cornhole and ladder toss, try your luck at “Chicken Poop” Bingo, enjoy a bonfire & s’mores and have a fantastic time with friends and family. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a lover of yard games, there's something for everyone. Don't miss out on the fun – we can't wait to see you there!

Tunes For A Cause - Fundraiser at the Rock Garden
Join us for Tunes for a Cause and wind your evening down with some relaxing Yoga and/or Reiki, music, great drinks, delicious food and making a difference for the animals. The Rock Garden will donate $1 per alcoholic/kombucha/non-alcoholic beer to Good Life Refuge and we know you will be generous with the Good Life Refuge donation jar. Our ambassador chick Tough will appreciate the extra boost. The funds raised will be going 100% to the care of our 72 animal residents.
The one-hour Yoga class starts at 5:30pm and is facilitated by Resilient Soul Yoga. Registration is required and we ask for a $25 donation per person. 100% of the proceeds from Yoga will go to benefit the GLR residents.

Reiki sessions are 20 minutes long and $25 and facilitated by Claudia Frick - a very gifted Reiki Master, Herbalist and Nutritionist. Registration is required. 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit our resident.

August Volunteer Orientation
Would you like to get up close and personal with our goats, chickens, cows, and so many more animal residents? Yes?
Then this position might just be for you! Our Helping Hands Animal Volunteer is required to come at least once a week (3 hour shift) and commit for a 6 months period, and is co-responsible for cleaning the animal residents’ housing and pastures, helping with any minor projects (such as coop assembly or tarp repair), and interacting with and loving the animals, with some opportunities to become more hands on with animal care over time.

Marissa Nelson, instructor at Resilient Soul Yoga will lead this all levels gentle flow yoga class on the farm.
Come root into the magic of this special place while connecting with your heart and the animal residents.
Guided mini tour follows the yoga. We will have yoga mats available or feel free to bring your own. No yoga experience necessary.
Beginners warmly welcome!! The class is held outdoors, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the beautiful summer breeze. We ask for $25 donation for the class and all proceeds will benefit our animal residents.
Fundraiser at the Rockgarden
Join us for a night of inspiration, music, art, great drinks, delicious food and making a difference for the animals. A-Lodge will donate $1 per alcoholic drink/kombucha/non-alcoholic beer to Good Life Refuge and we invite our guests to be generous at the donation jar.
The funds raised will be going 100% to the care of our 70 animal residents.

Make A Difference - 4th Birthday Celebration & Fundraiser
Join the fun and celebrate our 4th Birthday with us. Saucy Cluckers, Crummies, Mo & Co Soaps, Mill Haus Coffee, Pop a Drop by Kristen and KK Noble Creations will make sure you have full bellies and some shopping fun. There will be a scavenger hunt for the kids, sanctuary tours and lots of opportunities to have direct contact with our animal residents. The silent auction items will be on display and you have the opportunity to bid on them that day until 9pm. Access the silent auction here.
Registration will be per vehicle. So make sure to bring some friends and to fill up your car.
Kick off will be with our Premier event for recurring donors at 1P.M. This event is by invitation only and you must be a recurring donor to attend. Learn more here.

Visit our booth at VegFest Colorado at Impropercity. There will be tons of plant-based vendors, vegan eats and sweets, fun activities for the kids, a book swap, panel discussions and speakers. This is a very informative and fun event with lots of plant-based products to explore and yummy foods to try.
We will also be part of the panel discussion. We are looking forward to connect with you at VergFest Colorado

Sanctuary Open House April
Open House Events are back! Come and join us and our animals to learn about their stories, experience their unique personalities and meet our awesome volunteer staff. Tickets are limited and sold per car due to limited parking. Registration is required. This event is special as it will be free and we have a very generous donor who will sponsor new visitors coming to the sanctuary. Every new visitor will receive a $5 gift.
Because of this, make sure to register and to indicate how many people will be with you in the car and what time slot you will arrive at. We expect a bigger crowd than normal and need to make sure we can accommodate our visitors.
We also ask our visitors to leave their furry friends at home and to practice social distancing whenever possible to keep everyone safe. Additionally, we will hand out shoe covers for bio security measures as we need to keep our animal residents safe.
